DanMu: A Chrome Extension for YouTube Live Chat
DanMu is a Chrome extension developed by danmuextension that enhances the live chat experience on YouTube. It provides features like flying bullet comments and displaying chat messages in a specific area of the video. With a chat input text box, users can easily send messages by pressing Enter, just like typing in a chat window.
To use DanMu, simply enter a YouTube live chat room and wait for the chat messages to start scrolling. Then, press Ctrl+Alt+B to bring up the control panel and enable the desired features mentioned above. If you wish to customize the hotkey combination to bring up the control panel, you can do so by clicking on the plugin icon in the top-right corner of the Chrome browser and selecting the DanMu extension. This will open a window where you can modify the hotkey combination.
